She is gifted with great histrionic talents that perfectly go with television shows. As a young girl, Mahnoor Baloch dreamt of becoming a psychiatrist because she was fascinated by human behavior. But Allah willed otherwise and Mahnoor Baloch had become a television artist, literally getting the chance to study and portray human emotions in reel life. Indeed one could notice the humane elements in almost all her portrayals. Mahnoor Baloch got her first chance to showcase her histrionic talents with 'Marvi', a mega television serial directed by Sultana Siddiqui aka Aapi. In the serial, Mahnoor Baloch plays the friend of 'Marvi', a village belle. She soon attained stardom with 'Doosra Aasmaan', another mega serial telecast from Pakistani Television in 1993-94, in which, she portrayed the role of a pampered daughter to a rich father.
